MARQUIS TEAMS WITH JOE BRADY IN 2007

   Jerry Marquis, one of the most consistent drivers in the history of the NASCAR Whelen modified tour and car owner, Joe Brady are teaming up for an all out assault for the 2007 NASCAR Whelen modified tour title.
   Marquis, who was released from his ride in the Bob Garbarino Mystic Missile, has worked since January to get a deal done for the 2007 season and teaming with the legendary Brady put a smile on Marquis face after signing the deal.
   “I am really looking forward to working with Joe this season. I have been working hard to get something done but teaming with Joe and the Brandy Bunch 00 is something I am excited about.” Marquis said this week. “We’re going to make this work. I look at the success that Joe has had with Ted Christopher and Tommy Cravenho and I hope to duplicate that.”
   Joe Brady was equally excited about the prospects of joining forces with Marquis and running the entire modified tour. “I just think this is a great opportunity to team with a driver like Jerry and the experience that he brings to the team.”
   Brady, who has fielded cars since 1960 and modifieds since 1968 has had such drivers wheel the 00 that include old timers Leo Cleary, Bugs Stevens, Bobby Santos and Dick Trickle to more recently Steve Park, Ted Christopher, Bobby Santos III and Rick Fuller.
   Marquis credentials on the modified tour are quite impressive. He was the 2000 NASCAR Whelen modified tour champion and in 188 starts, has 19 career wins, 73 top fives and 109 top tens and has won over $623,000.
   Marquis also has won 6 modified track championships, 6 Pro stocks track titles and 4 late models track championships in his 30-year racing career. Marquis also has captured the NASCAR Whelen All American Series regional championship twice.
   Reynolds Auto Wrecking of E. Taunton, MA will be one of the sponsors that Marquis and Brady will carry on the famous #00.
   Both Marquis and Brady acknowledge that the modified tour is one of the most competitive series in racing but also know that teamed with years of driving experience and mechanical know how, that they can contend for the Whelen modified tour title.
   The 2007 NASCAR modified tour season kicks off on Saturday and Sunday, April 14th and 15th at the Thompson International Speedway.
