SoBe LIFE WATER TO SPONSOR
INDOOR RACING
AND MOTORSPORTS 2008 IN ATLANTIC CITY

announced today that SoBe Life Water will serve as the lead sponsor of
the 2008 "Gambler's Classic" Indoor Auto Racing event as well as a
supporting sponsor of Motorsports 2008 presented by VP Racing Fuels.
Two events will offer something for every motorsports
enthusiast to enjoy in Atlantic City in January. The 23rd edition of
Motorsports 2008 presented by VP Racing Fuels will take place at the
Atlantic City Convention Center, January 18-20,
while
the sixth running of the "Gambler's Classic" Indoor Auto Racing is set
for historic Boardwalk Hall, January 18 and 19. The three day
Motorsports Expo will include just under 300,000 square feet of exhibit
space featuring 200 of the hottest motorsports vehicles. Inside
Boardwalk Hall’s arena, the Three-Quarter Midgets/600cc Micro-Sprints
will serve as top billing, while Slingshots and Champ Karts will fill
out the two-day racing menu.
"This is an incredible weekend for racing fans to come to
Atlantic City and delve into everything motorsports," said Len Sammons,
who is organizing both events. "We're proud to have SoBe Life Water on
board as the lead sponsor. We feel there is a strong positive
association between the SoBe brand and the excitement of our weekend."
The Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) is the world's largest
manufacturer, seller and distributor of Pepsi-Cola beverages. Its U.S.
brands include Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi ONE, Wild Cherry Pepsi, Diet
Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Sierra Mist Free, Mug, Tropicana Twister,
Aquafina, Tropicana Juice Drinks and SoBe. The company also makes and
markets North America's best-selling ready-to-drink iced teas and
coffees, respectively, via joint ventures with Lipton and Starbucks.
Pepsi is the official soft drink for Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic
City Convention Center.
The show at the Convention Center will open at 12 noon on
Friday, January 18 and close at 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 20. Show will
be 12 noon to 8 pm on Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m.
to 5 p.m. on Sunday. One-day adult tickets are $15 and children, ages 6
through 12 will be admitted for just $5. For group rate information call

Gates open for Friday’s Indoor Auto Racing event at 7 p.m.
and racing begins at 8 p.m. On Saturday, gates open and prelim events
start at 4:30 p.m., followed by the on track fanfest at
6:30pm, and the
main Events at 7:30pm. Tickets for Friday’s race are $22 for reserved
seats, $17 for general admission, and $10 for children (ages 12 and
under). Tickets for Saturday’s race are $25 for reserved seats, $20 for
General Admission and $12 for children (ages 12 and under).
Fans can save by purchasing their tickets for the indoor
races in advance. Ticket prices will increase by $2 when purchased on
