DELANGE RACING LOOKS AHEAD TO 2008

With the checkered flag ready to wave on 2007, it is time to reflect back on a very successful season for the DeLange Racing team. There were a number of memorable accomplishments on the racetrack. There was also the remarkable growth in the career of Erick Rudolph. The Ransomville, New York teenager made his debut in a Modified and drove the Original Pizza Logs #45 to several top finishes, including a victory in a Race of Champions Tour event at Wyoming County International Speedway in only his sixth career Modified race. It was a season to remember for one of the rising young stars in motorsports.
DeLange Racing realizes that success is a result of a team effort. We are fortunate to have some very talented people on our team and we truly value their efforts. One group that doesn’t get enough credit is our sponsors. We are proud to have the support of many fine people and companies, including the following: Major Sponsors - Bob Cordova and Original Pizza Logs, Tom Snyder and PrimeTyme Motorsports, Tom Brigham and Brigham Concrete; Associate Sponsors - Comp Cams, ASI Racewear, C & C Racing Souvenirs, Castle Products, Randy LaJoie and The Joie of Seating, Mike Loescher, Bilstein Shock Absorbers, Bob Mueller and Troyer Racecars, Bob Bruneau and Bob Bruneau Engine Research. All of these individuals and companies are helping us enormously in our preparation for 2008 and many have supported us in the past. We extend our deep gratitude and appreciation to all.
Both our Modified & SST Modified are progressing nicely in preparation for next season. Both cars will carry the #45 and will share a new, identical color scheme. The main focus in the coming season will be the Modified, with a race schedule that will highlight selected events on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour as well as the Race of Champions Modified Tour. The NASCAR Tour released their 16-race 2008 schedule at their recent awards banquet and the RoC Tour is expected to do the same at their awards banquet on January 5, 2008. Once those schedules are available, we can begin to plan in earnest for the upcoming season.
“We are coming off a tremendous 2007 season,” says team owner Dave DeLange. “We enjoyed a good deal of success in the past year and gained some valuable experience we hope will translate into accomplishment in 2008. We are hard at work preparing the racecars. As the various series and track schedules are released we will begin to plan our team schedule. We hope to run at least 20-24 Modified races in the coming year and will compete in the SST when we are not racing the Modified. Both cars will sport a new paint scheme being designed by Erick and crewmember Christopher Murphy.
“We’re pleased that so many of our sponsors have decided to continue their support in 2008 and some new ones have stepped forward to join us. We are looking forward to a very successful year with Erick. It has been a great combination for the past two seasons and we expect to build on that in the future.”
Stay tuned for further news on the 2008 plans for Erick Rudolph and DeLange Racing team. It has been a flourishing pairing so far and we truly believe the best is yet to come!

THE END
