JIMMY BLEWETT SNATCHES POINT LEAD WITH WIN AT WALL

The TS Haulers / United Crane Rentals racing team nailed down their first Whelen Modified victory of the 2007 at Wall Township Speedway Sunday. Jimmy Blewett dashed to the lead on lap two and was never headed. The win vaults Blewett and the TS Haulers team to the top of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour standings.
“This wasn’t easy” said Jimmy, “I had to hold off my brother John and Reggie Ruggiero. Those are two of the last guys you want to see in your mirror at Wall. They raced me clean and at the end we had enough car left to pull away from them. I have to thank my guys for giving me such a great car and finishing 1-2 with my brother was the best!”
“I also have to thank our sponsors for making this possible. We have United Crane Rentals and Archer Steel from here in New Jersey they help us out a lot. And of course Eddie Partridge with TS Haulers from out on Long Island, he puts this all together.”
“I’d also like to personally thank Jim Morton for bringing the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour to Wall Township Speedway. It’s nice to be able to have a race here at home.” Jimmy’s next Whelen Modified Tour race will be at Stafford Motor Speedway, in Stafford Springs, Connecticut on May 25th.
Ed Partridge, owner of the TS Haulers team, would like to thank John Blewett, III, Billy Mathes from Performance Engines by “Billy the Kid”, Ron Hutter of Hutter Racing Engines, Nick Hamp from Peterbuilt of Maine and John Mazza Autographics for their support. Thanks also to Ray Rossi for running our website, www.tshaulers.com and keeping that up to date.

Jimmy is a third generation racer who has carved his way into the record books with 49 feature wins to this point. Blewett resides in Howell, New Jersey where he works as a heavy equipment operator.
