NASCAR SPRINT CUP STAR KEVIN HARVICK WILL BE PART OF
MOTORSPORTS 2009 RACE CAR & TRADE SHOW AT A.C.

One of the most popular and, perhaps, one of the most controversial racers on the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit is Kevin Harvick and the NASCAR superstar will be appearing at the Motorsports 2009 Race Car & Trade Show at the Atlantic City, NJ Convention Center. The show runs for two days, January 16-17th, and Harvick, driver of the Shell/Pennzoil sponsored Richard Childress owned Chevy, will be meeting fans and signing autographs on Friday, January 16th.
The 33 year old (celebrating his birthday on December 8th) finished fourth in the Sprint Cup Chase this season and enjoyed a good season with seven top 5s and 19 top 10s. He has 11 career victories including the 2007 Daytona 500.
Kevin and his wife Delana operate their own Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series teams. During the 2008 season Ron Hornaday drove their No. 33 Chevy truck to six wins and he was just nosed out for the title by Johnny Benson. The Nationwide entry, with a variety of drivers, had 22 starts earning one pole but no wins.
Harvick will be back with Richard Childress in 2009 as the Sprint Cup season kicks off at Daytona in February. He and Delana will again field entries in the Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series.
Harvick joins other NASCAR standouts such as Joey Logano and Johnny Benson at Motorsports 2009. NASCAR Vice President of Corporate Communications Jim Hunter will kick off the show on Friday, January 16th as the keynote speaker followed by a question and answer session.
Just recently added to the impressive list of racers taking part in the show is Chris Jones of Forest, Virginia. He is the driver of the LCS Motorsports #87 Camping World Series Truck. Jones is looking to run the full Camping World Truck Series schedule pending sponsorship. He will be at the show both days and will be signing autographs at four different times during the weekend.
More than 250 race vehicles representing just about all segments of motorsports will be on display with more than 400 exhibitors offering just about everything imaginable in motorsports.
Limited exhibitor space is still available for the show and details on displaying can be had by telephoning Tim Hogue at 609.888.3618.
On the same dates as the Motorsports 2009 show is taking place at the Atlantic City, NJ Convention Center the Gambler’s Classic Indoor Auto racing events will be taking place at night at the nearby Boardwalk Hall. The Three Quarter Midgets/600cc Micros will headline both nights along with Slingshot racers and Champ Karts.
The two big events offer a great weekend of motorsports in Atlantic City.
Information on discount lodging is available at www.aarn.com along with information on the schedule of activities for both events and ticket information.
