RoC DART ASPHALT MODIFIED TOUR MAKING THEIR
ANNUAL FATHERS
DAY WEEKEND STOP AT WYOMING COUNTY THIS SATURDAY NIGHT
The
track with the nickname of asphalt bull ring racing at its finest
takes center stage this Saturday night as the Race of Champions Dart
Asphalt Modified Tour invades the beautiful Wyoming County
International Speedway in Perry, NY.
Normally this 75 lap feature has taken place on Father’s Day for
the past several years. But this year the show will take place under
the lights on Saturday night and it will be an entirely whole new
ball game racing here at night.
Last year Wyoming County hosted two races with Rusty Smith winning
on Father’s Day and Erick Rudolph winning one month later. This year
only one Modified race dots the schedule and all of the top asphalt
Modified pilots will be out looking for the $2,800 win.
All of the usual Race of Champions Dart Asphalt Modified Tour
drivers like defending champion Pete Brittain, Daren Scherer, John
Markovic, Rick Kluth, and many more will be on hand to battle for
the win. Plus you can’t forget about new Tour regular TJ
Potrzebowski who is always tough at the Perry oval.
Wyoming County will be racing on Friday night this weekend also and
the Modifieds are invited to hot lap. On Saturday June 15th Pit
gates open at two in the afternoon with practice starting at four
and races are starting at seven o’clock Saturday night.
The Race of Champions Dart Asphalt Modified Tour is sponsored by;
