The Race of Champions Dart Asphalt Modified Tour will run their fourth race of the year on Friday night August 1st at John White’s beautiful Spencer Speedway.
   Last year RoC made its return to Spencer and a very entertaining racing evening took place with local favorite Jan Leaty coming out on top in the 100 lap event.
   This year should be no different as all of the top RoC Tour drivers will be on hand to do battle with the tough Spencer Speedway Modified drivers. Current RoC Tour point leader and defending RoC Tour champion Pete Brittain will be on hand along with Daren Scherer, Billy Putney, defending race winner Jan Leaty and his son Mike. Joining them will be TJ Potrzebowski, Erick Rudolph, John Markovic, Rick Kluth, and Tommy Farrell, III.
   Spencer Speedway has their own top flight Modified drivers and they are lead by the father and son team of Buck and Patsy Catalano. Tony Hanbury is the current Touring Modified point leader at Spencer and he will be a threat on this night to win for sure.
   Gate times for this exciting evening of RoC Tour racing sees pits open at 5 with hot laps at 6:45 and the first heat beginning at 7:30 p.m. sharp.
