NEW ENGLAND RACING FUELS SIGNS
TWO YEAR DEAL WITH TVMRS

New England Racing Fuels COO, John Holland, has announced his companies return and sponsorship support for the True Value Modified Racing Series through the 2009 season. The announcement was made in conjunction with the TVMRS winter meeting in Keene, NH., Saturday January 12. Sunoco Race Fuels will be the official race fuel of the fifth year series.
Holland, a long time supporter of modified racing in New England and Sunoco Race Fuels, will present the touring series “Hard Charger” award at each race event in 2008.
The award is presented to the competitor that passes the most cars in the series 100 lap races.
In addition, New England Racing Fuels will continue their participation in the “Modified Mania” guaranteed starter program. Again this season, six race dates, to be determined, will establish starting positions for the 75 lap race at the third annual Thompson CT. Speedway two day event. The Sunoco Race Fuels sponsored program is scheduled for Sept 6, 7. The TVMRS will also benefit from a cash influx into the year end point fund.
In making the announcement Holland said “We have been involved with the series since 2004. We are amazed at the growth in the popularity of the series. The 2007 season saw record crowds at many of the series events. Several of those races were hotly contested right to the finish.” As a series sponsor that’s what Holland likes, “The great on-track competition in the series, that’s what it’s all about. New England Racing Fuels is proud to be a part of that,” he said.
Holland summed up his support this way. “The loyalty of the competitors to use our fuels and Jack's commitment to set-up a program that gives back to the race teams make this series special.”
The 2008 season will open Saturday April 12 with the running of the “Spring Dash 100” at Monadnock Speedway, Winchester, NH.
