FOR 37th ANNUAL TECH-NET SPRING SIZZLER AT STAFFORD
SPEEDWAY
The 37th annual Tech-Net Spring Sizzler presented by CARQUEST will have
Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell serve as Grand Marshal. The governor
is no stranger to Stafford Motor Speedway. She and her family have
visited the NASCAR half-mile on several previous occasions, serving as
grand marshal for a Stafford event once while she was the Lieutenant
Governor, and then again serving as the Grand Marshal for the 2006
Tech-Net Spring Sizzler.
“We are very proud and honored to welcome the Governor of
Connecticut to Stafford Speedway and have her serve as our Spring
Sizzler Grand Marshal,” said Mark Arute, SMS COO/GM.

decades. She holds the state’s highest office after serving as the 105th

Representatives where she held key leadership posts, including Deputy
House Minority Leader
