RACING
ELECTRONICS TO SPONSOR SPOTTER SEMINAR
'Spot-On' will improve race
teams' on-track communications |
SpeedwayEXPO has announced that Concord, North Carolina's Racing Electronics
will sponsor a spotter seminar at XPO. RE provides radio equipment to top
NASCAR drivers and crews as well as to TV announcers.
RE will also give away a RT-006 Deluxe Spotter Headset, the
company's best-selling two-way Platinum unit equipped with all the features
top spotters have asked for, including an extra-loud five-pin scanner
option, gel ear seals, and a noise-canceling flex boom microphone. The
headset will be presented to one lucky attendee at the seminar.
SpeedwayEXPO Radio Communication SeminarThere's potential for
significant communication improvement among local and area touring teams.
Radio is an effective tool to help teams win races, but clear reception and
effective communication is key to success. The RE seminar will help racing
teams achieve both.
With advice and hands-on tips from experts, XPO's Racing
Electronics-sponsored radio seminar will show racers how to achieve
trouble-free, reliable, clear radio reception. Effective communication is
also about managing conversations between driver, spotter, and crew, so
SpeedwayEXPO has invited some of the Northeast's best and most experienced
spotters to discuss the dos and don'ts of what to say on the radio. All
seminars are free to XPO attendees.
Tickets for SpeedwayEXPO can purchased in advance to save nearly
one-third of the price at the gate. These money-saving tickets are available
at 978-465-9099 x 103 (ask for Barbara) or online at
SpeedwayEXPO.com.
Produced by Speedway Illustrated Magazine and sponsored by Sunoco,
SpeedwayEXPO will be at the Big E, in West Springfield, MA, Feb. 27 - March
1, 2009. It is the largest event for drivers, teams, tracks, and racing
vendors in the Northeast. SpeedwayEXPO will launch the 2009 racing season
with more than 200 new race cars and old favorites, and hundreds of exhibits
for drivers, crews, and fans from a dozen states and Canada. Thousands of
enthusiasts pack more than 130,000 square feet of exhibit space to take part
in seminars and demonstrations; see retailers of racing gear and
memorabilia; and meet today's and yesterday's racing celebrities.
