The seventh night of racing for the 43rd year of racing at New Smyrna

It was a great night of racing and fans knew that the mods were in
town.
Here is a summary of the Richie Evans Memorial night of racing:
The night was warm enough for a good night of racing in Florida
The track condition was ripe for racing
Tensions were all but gone as racers concentrated on racing
Drivers were too busy driving and competing to be aggressive
Fans were ready for racing
Fans could not stay sitting as the laps clicked off for the
Richie Evans Memorial Race
TC was not going to let Silk get the last bonsai move
Silk showed he could use the bonsai move to pass the master
Bobby Grigas hung on to third spot waiting for the leaders to
make one wrong move
There were 12 lead changes during the 100 lap race
Silk took over the lead 5 times
TC took over the lead 5 times
Jimmy Blewett did not finish the race he was out on lap 11 with

Cars were able to come from the back of the pack back through the
field
