MOTHER NATURE
WINS AGAIN AT THOMPSON |
Rain caused a short circuit in the Thursday night race program at the
Thompson International Speedway. The rains came shortly before race cars
were scheduled to begin qualifying for the Charter Communications sponsored
race night. The event has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 27th.
This is the second time that weather has forced the postponement of the
event that will feature the True Value Modified Racing Series. This popular
touring division of Modified race cars was slated to compete in the Town
Fair Tire 75-lap main event.
Competitors and fans are advised that both grandstand tickets and pit
passes sold for this event will be honored only on the rain date of August
27th. The program on that date will be exactly the same as was planned for
Thursday, July 23. Complete information will be available on the Thompson
web site
www.thompsonspeedway.com.
