SPONSOR FAMILY DAY
AT MOTORSPORTS 2010 |
Everyone coming out for “Family Day” at Motorsports 2010 Presented by
StreetBlaze 100 Race Car & Trade Show on Sunday, January 24th have Metal Fab
of Pennington, NJ to thank for the special ticket prices offered that date.
The day of Family Fun will be available FREE for children 12 and under while
adults will be admitted for just $10 each. No discount coupons are needed
and no discount coupons will be honored on this special day.
Metal Fab Pro Race Shop stocks everything racers need including
Bicknell race cars. The business, owned by racer Mark Blackwell for the past
13 years, offers sealing, shop dyno, race setup and complete assembly
service. The shop is open 8 a. m. to 5:30 p.m. each weekday, 8 to 2 p.m. on
Saturdays and by appointment at other times. Metal Fab also offers trackside
services at New Egypt Speedway.
The closing day of the three day Motorsports 2010 show taking place
at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA will feature Big Wheel
racing for youngsters 3 through 9 years old. This will be the 25th
consecutive year for the always popular Big Wheel action which is divided
into three age categories. There is no need to bring a Big Wheel to be part
of the competition as they are supplied and there are prizes for the
youngsters. Over the years several of today’s outstanding local racing stars
have been part of the Big Wheel events.
Bridgeport, NJ Speedway will have their Bridgeport Bandit mascot on
hand and Ralphie the Racer Dog will represent New Egypt, NJ Speedway. Joe
“The Pizza Dude” will represent the Grandview Speedway Thunder on the Hill
Series. Other tracks and companies are invited to participate.
A Juggling Magician will be on hand in the stage area from 11 a.m.
to 2 p.m. on Sunday to entertain both youngsters and adults.
Local race teams are invited to get involved. It is a great way for racers
to create new fans and make their old fans happy. Drivers with photo cards
should have them available for autographing. Speedways, race teams and
sponsors are invited to contribute t-shirts, hats and other items to be used
as giveaways during the fun filled "Family Day."
There will be more than 200 racing vehicles on display during the
Friday, January 22nd thru Sunday, January 24th show.
NASCAR Sprint Cup stars Kasey Kahne and Marcos Ambrose will be at the show
during the weekend as will NASCAR crew chief Frankie Kerr and NASCAR legend
Bobby Allison. Drag racing star Morgan Lucas and World of Outlaws sprint car
legend Danny Lasoski will be on hand to meet fans as will many other
national, regional and local racing stars.

Adult tickets for the show are priced at $14 except on Metal Fab
Family Day when the tickets are $10. Kids tickets 6 thru 12 are $5 but on
Family Day admission will be FREE. Children under 6 are admitted FREE all
three days.
The show runs 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, January 22nd; 11 a.m. to
9 p.m. on Saturday, January 23rd and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, January
24th.
