This weekend Start/Finish Productions proudly presents the Auto Parts Swap
‘n Sell. This Saturday and Sunday, January 16-17, 2010, the Better Living
Center at the Eastern States Exposition Center in West Springfield , MA ,
will be transformed into a bargain hunter’s paradise.
Recognized by Hemmings Motor News as the largest indoor automotive
swap meet in the country, Auto Parts Swap ‘n Sell will occupy over
three-acres of exhibit space and will cater to the needs of all gear heads.
This all–automotive swap meet and flea market has become one of the most
anticipated events of the winter because of its diversity, affordability,
and warmth.
With over a million parts and accessories, Swap ‘n Sell is the
center of speed. Bargains will abound on merchandise for racecars of all
types, plus hot rods, classics, customs, and imports.
For the first time ever, Swap ‘n Sell will include a Special
Interest Car Corral that will include everything from hot rods to race cars.
Admission tickets will be available at the door for only $10.00
(per day) children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by a paid
adult. Show hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Saturday and Sunday.
In an era when online bargain buying is all the rage, Start/Finish
Productions has continued to present a quality buying and selling
environment allowing the more conventional swap meet/flea market show to
thrive. Auto Parts Swap ‘n Sell offers prices competitive with any online
auction site without the cost of shipping, without the wait, and with much
less risk.
After 30 years, Swap ‘n Sell is supported by hundreds of
sellers-nearly 350-offering a huge assortment of new and used parts for all
automotive areas of interest. Displays from manufacturers and wholesalers to
retailers and private sellers, will feature cutting-edge high-performance
parts and accessories (brand new and pre-owned); safety equipment;
hard-to-find vintage originals, and everything in between. Traditional flea
market fare will also include tools and gadgets, automotive literature, and
memorabilia.
A host of loyal vendors line the aisles of the 123,000 square foot
Better Living Center . For the racer, top-notch retailers are always a
mainstay at the annual Auto Parts Swap ‘n Sell with exhibits from the likes
of Spraker Racing, Northeast Race Cars and Parts, and Gardner Leavitt’s
Action Racing. In 2010, notable vendors in attendance will also include
Magnus Racing Products, Duraflex, Central Connecticut Coatings, and many
more.
Confirmed vendors from the street rodding and customizing industry
include Ground Up Restorations, from nearby Meriden , CT , who specialize in
parts and accessories for all eras of Chevelle; and Checkered Racing of
Bedford, IN, suspension professionals for rodders and racers. A number of
specialty companies like Moon’s Classics of Roxbury, NH, purveyors of parts
and accessories for ’55-’57 Chevys and Ames Performance out of New Hampshire
provides specialization for GTO owners will also be on hand.
In the struggling economy, a quality swap meet and flea market can
be the key to completing a project.
Hot Rodders will find quality parts for every step of their
restoration. Custom car enthusiasts can locate that key piece to complete a
project. Vintage aficionados may uncover the rare find like an original
fender or headlight; or an original owner’s manual or antique license plate
