TO BROADCAST NORTH-SOUTH SHOOTOUT |

Racing Promotions has reached an agreement with Masters Entertainment
Services to broadcast the Eighth Annual 109 U-Pull It John Blewett III
Memorial North-South ShootoutTM scheduled for November 5&6, 2010 at Concord
Speedway in Concord, NC. The tape delayed broadcast will air on Fox Sports
South.
“We are very excited to be working with Masters TV,” said Charles Kepley,
owner of C&C Racing Promotions. “They offer years of expert experience in
television production and provide the highest level of professionalism. With
their focus on motorsports, we are confident that the broadcast will be
second-to-none.”
Masters Entertainment Group, Inc. currently produces over 200 television
programs for ESPN, ESPN2, Outdoor Channel, Fox Sports, and the Sunshine
Network with specialized coverage of the automotive and motorsports
industries. Notable MEG Productions include Fox Sports Net’s Inside Drag
Racing and On the Track, a new series that covers many different types of
motorsports events from all across America. On the Outdoor Channel, MEG
produces Motor Mania, a 13-week series featuring a diverse mix of
motorsports programming.
With a production that will include six state-of-the-art cameras, viewers
will catch all the action during the North–South Shootout. And there
promises to be plenty of racing excitement as the traditional event features
125 laps of green flag racing for both the Tour-Type Modifieds and Super
Late Models of the Champion Racing Association (CRA) Super Series. Support
divisions include the SK-Type Modifieds, USA Modifieds, Vintage Modifieds
and Vintage Sportsman.
The northern and southern Modified stars will engage in an all-out duel for
racing supremacy with some of the biggest names in Modified racing including
the likes of two-time and defending champion Burt Myers, Ted Christopher,
Jason Myers, another two-time Shootout champion Matt Hirschman, Junior
Miller and countless others.
The SK-Type Modifieds, an equally as competitive and tenacious brand of
open-wheel racers, will compete in a 50-lapper of their own. New to the
Shootout in 2010 will be the USA Modifieds. Joining the open-wheel brethren
are the authentic and very racy Vintage Modified and Sportsman divisions.
The CRA-sanctioned 125 lap Super Late Model event will showcase drivers from
various Super Late Model Series including CRA, PASS, the Blizzard Series
along with a group of competitors from a number of other series and tracks.
The entry list which currently stands at 27 includes the likes of young
stars Ross Kenseth and Ryan Blaney, Preston Peltier, Kyle Busch Motorsports
driver T.J. Reaid along with defending race winner Jeff Fultz.
On Friday, November 5, qualifying will be held for all divisions. Time
trials will be run for the Tour-Type Modifieds, Super Late Models, SK-Type
Modifieds and the USA Modifieds followed by heat races for all divisions.
The 125-lap events for Tour-Type Modifieds and the Super Late Models will
highlight the activities on Saturday, November 6. The 50-lap feature for the
SK-Type Modifieds and USA Modifieds along with the Vintage divisions will
also compete in feature action on Saturday.

Sports South is available in the Basic Packages for both Direct TV and Dish
Network. A host of other cable service providers offer Fox Sports South for
a minimal charge.
Last year the broadcast of the North-South Shootout was aired over an
extended period of time on Fox Sports South and was picked up nationally by
Fox affiliates for a total of 30 plus airings of the event.
