In 2010, Ryan Preece will be back in the BRE “Ole Blue” Race Team owned and
run by Janice and Michael Boehler. With a very successful 2009 season, the
whole BRE team wants to try and get the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship
in 2010.
“Im really looking forward to the 2010 season. My team and I gel
really well together, and I can’t wait to see what we can do next year. I
know we have the equipment and the sponsors behind us to have that kind of year that
everyone dreams of having”, said Preece.
What would be one race you would want to win this year the most?
“A race I have always dreamed of winning is Stafford's Spring Sizzler. I
really love the racing at Stafford and the crowds there are really good to
me, so that’s definitely a race I want to win", Ryan stated. "Other than the
Sizzler, I
want to win any race I am in position to win. I need to get some
more trophies in my room.”
What are your plans for 2010 other than the Nascar Whelen
Modified Tour?
“Right now, my dad and I are trying to put some sponsorship
together so we can do some racing at New Smyrna Speedweeks and the Thompson
Weekly Shows with our Tour Modified that we work on at home. My whole family
loves racing, and we want to be able to do it as much as we can, we just
need to find funds to be able to do it. I really want to thank 'limodmaniac' for his help in 2009 and his help in the 2010 season. I want to
thank Performance Technology, Reynolds Auto Wrecking and Big John for their
support and their powerful motors that they supply our team with. I also
want to thank Davidson
Food Products, Mizzy Construction, Logan Steel, Cape Cod Copper, Roby gas,
Big Wheel Truck Sales, Interstate Batteries of Cape Cod, and Joey G.”
Will 2010 be more successful for the BRE team?
Guess we will all have to watch this young star and powerful team and see.
Ryan will be at Motorsports 2010 presented by StreetBlaze 100 at
the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa., which is scheduled from
January 22-24, 2010.
