UNOH PERFECT
STORM 150 TO AIR LIVE ON SPEED
New England 100
Telecast Set For Thursday, Aug. 19 |
|
For
the second year in a row the UNOH Perfect Storm 150 at Bristol Motor
Speedway will be broadcast same-day on SPEED.
The second installment of the NASCAR Whelen Modified and Whelen
Southern Modified Tour combination race at the “World’s Fastest Half
Mile” will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 18. SPEED will carry the race
live starting at 6 p.m. ET.
The inaugural appearance for both the Whelen and Whelen Southern
Modified Tours at the concrete half-mile in Bristol, Tenn., in 2009
was won by Donny Lia. The UNOH Perfect Storm 150 will be the only
combination race for NASCAR’s two Modified Tours in 2010.
The UNOH Perfect Storm 150 will precede NASCAR Camping World Truck
Series O’Reilly 200 on Aug. 18, which will also air on SPEED.
It will be a big week for the Whelen Modified Tour on SPEED. A day
after the Bristol telecast, the New England 100 will premier on
Thursday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. ET. The New England 100 was contested on
June 26 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
With the New England 100 now slated for Aug. 19, the NASCAR K&N Pro
Series West race at Colorado National Speedway will now air on
Thursday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m.
Like the UNOH Perfect Storm 150 at Bristol, the Whelen Modified Tour
F.W. Webb 100 at New Hampshire will also be carried same-day by
SPEED on Saturday, Sept. 18. |
