This
Friday and Saturday, February 25 & 26, Seymour Enterprises and
TheRaceDepot.com will host the Racer’s Expo, a trade show targeted toward
the local short track racers. The event is open to active competitors from
the local short tracks and regional touring series. Admission is free to
racers who pre-register online at
www.TheRacersExpo.com.
Over 50 hardcore racing vendors will be on hand for the Racer’s Expo
offering a variety of products and services for all short track racing
applications. The list of 2011 exhibitors includes Atlantic Coast Trailer,
Bell Helmets, The Brake Man, Design 500 Racing Suits, JRA Powder Coating,
Lucas Oil Products Inc., Magnus Racing Products, Racing Electronics, Radical
Race Gear Richard Petty Driver Search, Safety Solutions Head & Neck
Restraint Systems, SPAFCO, The University of Northwestern Ohio Motorsports
College, Wrisco Industries Sheet Metal Products, and more. A full list of

A host of seminars will be held during the weekend including “All About
Brakes” hosted by The Brake Man - Warren Gilliland; “Let' Be Safe” hosted by
Randy LaJoie of The Joie of Seating featuring a panel of top names in safety
equipment; “Marketing Strategies for the Short Track Racer” hosted by Stan
Mertz. A full schedule of seminars is also available online. Admission for
the seminars is also free to those who pre-register.
The Racers Expo will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Royal Plaza Hotel
located on Route 20 in Marlboro, MA (Exit 24b off I-495). Show hours are
Friday, February 25 from 4 PM to 9 PM and on Saturday, February 26 from 10
AM to 7 PM.
Following the show on Friday evening at the Royal Plaza Hotel, Seymour will
host a fundraiser for Eric Saunders, son of Hoosier Racing Tires’ Irish
Saunders. Tickets will be available for $20 during the show hours on Friday.
All proceeds will go to the Saunders Family.
Eric, rider for Tony Stewart Racing Motorcross, was injured in a motocross
crash last year and is on the road to recovery. With a motto of “I Can, I
Will” Saunders continues to have an incredibly positive attitude. |
