TOWN FAIR
TIRE SIGNS EVENT-SPONSORSHIP DEAL
WITH LIME ROCK PARK |
|
Town
Fair Tire, the largest tire and wheel retailer in
New England, has signed a naming-rights agreement
for the September 16-17 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour
event at Lime Rock Park.
A Lime Rock sponsor since 2000, this is Town Fair
Tire’s first event sponsorship at the famous track
in Connecticut’s Northwest Corner.
The naming-rights deal is in addition to Town Fair
Tire and Toyo Tire continuing its presence at Lime
Rock Park as Official Retail Tire Partner.
Jim Uliano, vice president of marketing for Town
Fair Tire, headquartered in East Haven, Conn., said,
“We’ve been very pleased with the marketing
visibility Lime Rock Park provides Town Fair Tire.
Its fans are loyal and savvy, and we’ve taken
advantage of lots of synergies. When we were offered
the opportunity to become the presenting sponsor of
the NASCAR weekend, we jumped on it.”
Lime Rock President Skip Barber says, “Town Fair
Tire is exactly the kind of sponsor you want at a
fan-friendly motorsports venue such as Lime Rock.
They are always pro-active and involved, and the
fans count on Town Fair Tire’s display as the
‘anchor of the Midway.’”
The deal includes signage, website and billboard
presence, as well as the Town Fair Tire Midway Booth
hosting the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour driver
autograph sessions.
Town Fair Tire has more than 80 stores throughout
Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode
Island and Maine, and has been in business since
1966. Website is
