  Car
This LFR Chassis has run at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Thompson Speedway this season.

  Sponsor
15-40 Connection is raising awareness of the fact that cancer survival rates in teens and young adults ages 15 to 40 have barely improved since 1975 in large part because of delays in diagnosis. It is empowering individuals with knowledge that will save and improve lives through early cancer detection.

  Honorary Crew Member
Stephanie Corliss, a 28-year-old thyriod cancer survivor and a 15-40 Connection representative, will be featured on the No. 15 Chevrolet at Bristol. She is sharing her story to empower others to advocate for their health. Stephanie’s full story can be found at: http://bit.ly/1540steph.

Rob Fuller Motorsports and 15-40 Connection teamed up to feature young cancer survivors throughout the 2014 NWMT season in an effort to raise awareness of the obstacles teens and young adults face to diagnose cancer at earlier stages.

  Quotes

  Rob Fuller,
Owner of Rob Fuller Motorsports and LFR Chassis

“Bristol is one of my favorite tracks to race at and we’ve always run well in the Truck and Modified races. Todd has a great record there and I think with the way these past few races have gone with the LFR Chassis, we’ll run well as long as everything goes right.”

Todd Szegedy, Driver of the No. 15 15-40 Connection Chevrolet

“I like Bristol a lot -- I like the way the track drives and the speed of it. It’s got a great top and bottom groove and you can really go anywhere and pass. There’s no advantage if you’re on the top or the bottom and that’s a great race track to me. I wish there were more like it. The speeds are fast enough to where it scares everyone a little bit and the drivers give each other respect on the track. It’s been a pleasure to drive for 15-40 Connection these past few weeks. Stephanie Corliss came to the race in Thompson with her father and uncle and it was a pleasure to meet them and give her a signed checkered flag to remember that experience.”

Tricia Laursen, Executive Director at 15-40 Connection

“Stephanie Corliss has an amazing story to tell and we’re proud to have the honor of working closely with her at 15-40 Connection and have the opportunity to share her story with NASCAR race fans. Stephanie is a cancer survivor who experienced what many young adults unfortunately go through – delayed diagnosis. The good thing is she had a slow growing cancer which gave her time to develop the courage to stand up for herself, seek another opinion and ultimately secure the proper diagnosis. Improvements in cancer survivor rates among teens and young adults lag behind all other age groups. So sharing experiences such as Stephanie’s is highly important to empowering young adults with information that could save their lives.”
