ROB FULLER
MOTORSPORTS TO INTRODUCE RAY GRAHAM
TO NASCAR WHELEN MODIFIED TOUR
Graham to Pilot 15-40 Connection Modified in Series Finale
Race at Thompson Speedway |
In
the final race of the 2015 NASCAR Whelen Modified
Tour (NWMT) season, Rob Fuller Motorsports will be
introducing the modified racing world to Ray Graham,
a veteran racer and valued LFR Chassis customer. Rob
Fuller Motorsports will be providing Graham with
support and coaching during Sunday’s NWMT event at
Thompson Speedway.
"I am looking forward to introducing Ray to the
NASCAR Modified division at Thompson this weekend,”
said Rob Fuller, team owner and President of LFR
Chassis. “The RFM car is a house car for LFR Chassis
and we like to try different set ups, use it when a
customer gets into a situation where they need a
car, or simply sell the car and get the LFR brand to
more cars on the track.”
“That was the situation with Ray,” Fuller continued.
“We met earlier this year and he decided to purchase
this car and give the modifieds a try. I really
enjoy going to tracks and helping racers understand
their cars and giving them every opportunity to run
well. This weekend will definitely be fun with the
championship points battle as tight as it is and
helping Ray with his debut."
Fuller and his team will provide Graham with support
and guidance on how to set up a modified for the
race, coach him during any on-track activity and
service the car during pit stops. For Rob Fuller
Motorsports, this is an opportunity to ensure Graham
gets a solid footing in the NWMT by providing all
resources possible to him in his debut race.
Graham spent his entire life around racing, as his
dad used to compete and take him to Fulton Speedway
to watch Richie Evans, Jerry Cook and Geoff Bodine
run modifieds. He began driving in the mid-1990’s
when he competed in small block supers.
Graham has since frequently raced supermodifieds at
Oswego Speedway and in the International
Supermodified Association (ISMA) series. He won
multiple races in both divisions, as well as an
Oswego Speedway track championship. Graham also won
both the 2010 and 2011 Mr. Supermodified, a premier
race in the racing series.
“I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the No. 15
15-40 Connection modified at Thompson Speedway,”
said Graham. “Since I’ve met Rob and his team over
at Rob Fuller Motorsports, it has been easy to see
that they are at the top of their game. To be going
into my first modified series race with their
support and level of expertise is great. It couldn’t
be a better debut for me.”
Cheer on Graham and Rob Fuller Motorsports in the
final NWMT race of the season at Thompson Speedway
on October 18. Fans unable to see the action live at
the track can catch the race when it airs on NBCSN
on October 22 at 8 p.m. EST.
