LFR CHASSIS SECURES THIRD 2016 NWMT WIN
WITH BOBBY SANTOS AT THOMPSON SPEEDWAY
Chassis Company Has Won Three of Five NWMT Races This Season

A familiar face recently returned to Victory Lane, as Bobby Santos and Tinio Motorsports’ LFR Chassis modified car finished first at Thompson Speedway Motorsport Park. This victory marks Santos’ 14th career win in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) and the third win for LFR Chassis this season, as the company also supplies chassis for Doug Coby.

“Bobby’s win at Thompson Speedway is a huge win for the whole organization,” said Rob Fuller, President of LFR Chassis. “We’ve really raised the bar this season by having championship-caliber drivers like him and Doug Coby in LFR Chassis equipment. They’ve proven that the product we are putting out on the track is top of the line and can win anywhere at any time.”

After having tire issues throughout the beginning of the Thompson 125 and pitting multiple times, Santos was able to make a daring, last-lap pass for the win. Santos and Tinio Motorsports switched to LFR Chassis at the start of the 2016 season and have provided proven results, as they have racked up one win, one Top-5 and three Top-10s so far this season.

Coming out of a 25-race winless streak, it is evident that the switch to LFR Chassis has proved beneficial for the 2010 NWMT champion and his team.

"It has been a struggle for the last one and half years,” said Santos. “Both myself and the team are used to winning, so not to win since July 2014 was rough. We switched over to LFR Chassis in hopes to get things moving again and be in contention to win, so it feels great to accomplish that. The whole team just feels so good about this, it was way overdue!"

Although Santos and Tinio Motorsports only recently switched to LFR Chassis, Santos is confident in his team’s abilities along with the support they receive from LFR Chassis’ Rob Fuller and Ryan Stone in his No. 44 Tinio Corp. Chevrolet.

"We expect to win a lot more now before the end of the season,” said Santos. “This last win gave the team a big boost in morale and has put us in the position we need to be in to win. Everyone is excited again and motivated, so it's like we're back on track. I really can't thank LFR Chassis enough for working with Tinio Motorsports, Ray Graham and myself. Rob Fuller and Ryan Stone from LFR have been a huge help to the whole team and the car drives excellently."

With this victory, LFR Chassis has dominated the NWMT and has won over half the races of the season thus far.

“I’m really confident in the future of LFR Chassis,” said Fuller. “We recently took on an investment group and have the financial backing to focus solely on the product and the cars we are providing to our customers. 2016 is going to be a great year for all of us.”
